MRI Technologist
About the job
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT and/or ARMRIT Certification required.
- Education: Graduate of JRCERT approved program in Radiologic Technology or MRI approved program.
- Provider BLS (American Heart Association/American Red Cross) required.
- Run Magnetic Resonance Imaging scanners and work directly with patients to verify clinical history, prepare, instruct and position them for their procedure, and minimize anxiety.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures; ensure proper imaging protocols and quality.
- Coordinate with healthcare team to ensure regulatory compliance and accurate documentation; prepare imaging reports/drawings/visual aids as needed.
- Minimum 1 year of recent MRI experience preferred; Cardiac Scanning experience is a plus.
- Advanced Certification by ARRT (MRI) preferred.
- IV Certification preferred or must be achieved by end of training/onboarding process.
